Gulf Shores, Alabama: The Knights of Columbus from the Phillip A. Lambert
Council of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Gulf Shores contributed
$1,000 toward the first Habitat for Humanity of Baldwin County Apostles Build.
Apostles Build is a partnership of multi-denominational churches that have
joined forces to help rebuild one local family’s life.
The event kicked off September 16th with over 170 volunteers participating on
“frame day” and completion of the house is scheduled for the end of October.
“The Knight’s donation has helped feed the many volunteers during construction
and keeping volunteers fed is an important part of the Habitat process” said
Graham Green, Development Coordinator for HfHBC.
